Aoife Carrigy

Aoife Carrigy is one of Ireland's most widely published food and drinks writers, with an award-winning weekly wine column in the Irish Independent. She regularly MCs at food theatres in Irish festivals including Electric Picnic where she curates and hosts the annual Drinks Theatre programme.

Aoife has a grá for great food and drink pairings, something that features heavily in The Old Spot Cookbook, which she authored for Dublin's favourite gastropub and won Cookbook of the Year at the Irish Food Writing Awards 2025.
