Hang Dai will be offering Chinese/Asian inspired street food at Big Grill 2024. Using the same technique as they do in their bespoke restaurant woodfired-oven, they’ll be cooking locally-sourced ducks from Skeaghanore, West Cork over a Parrilla Grill for a similar effect. With corn smoked in the husk over a barrel smoker, served dipped in butter and rolled in a zesty/spicy togarashi popcorn.

Hang Dai has become a Dublin staple with contemporary Chinese/Asian cuisine and all-round good vibes. With a woodfired traditional Chinese oven taking centre stage, Chinese dishes like Beijing Roast Duck and Mapo Tofu are always present. Whilst staying true to some traditional Chinese recipes, their approach is always playful and merges various Asian cuisines using high end local ingredients.
